What is ENiCrMo-13?
ENiCrMo-13 is the covered manual-arc electrode matching Alloy 59 chemistry (UNS W86059) for shop and field welding of extreme-corrosion-service equipment. Deposits run about 480 MPa yield, 745 MPa tensile, 40 % elongation and 200 HB (93 HRB), with a corrosion rating of 96 and service to 450 °C, and the electrode is also used for weld overlay. Electrodes must be redried and held hot, heat input kept low, and the deposit machines slowly (machinability 20). Use ERNiCrMo-13 bare wire where GTAW or GMAW is practical. ENiCrMo-13 has a density of 8.6 g/cm³ (0.311 lb/in³), heavier than 67% of nickel alloy grades. It melts at 1,310°C (2,390 °F). ENiCrMo-13 has a yield strength of 480 MPa (69.6 ksi) and a tensile strength of 745 MPa (108 ksi) — stronger than 70% of nickel alloy grades. Elongation at break is 40% and the elastic modulus is 210 GPa (30.5 Msi).

Working with ENiCrMo-13
Is ENiCrMo-13 easy to machine?
Deposit machines like Alloy 59 base metal: low speeds, heavy positive-rake carbide, rigid setup and flood coolant to fight work hardening and gumming.
Can ENiCrMo-13 be welded?
DCEP, stringer beads, low heat input (<1.5 kJ/mm), interpass ≤150 °C, weave ≤3× core diameter; redry electrodes 250–300 °C and keep in a hot quiver.
Can ENiCrMo-13 be formed, bent or molded?
Not a wrought product — formability applies only to the deposited bead; grind-and-blend rather than cold work the weld.
