Materials

Aerospace-grade catalog.
Three-click picker.

500+ grades across metals, plastics, composites, and ceramics — each with the full spec sheet, equivalent international grades, and a per-process whitelist so the picker only shows what your chosen process can actually run.

Materials picker — tiered selector (Family → Grade → Temper) with searchable grade list.
01
Tiered picker

Family. Grade. Temper. Three clicks.

Aluminum → 6061 → T6 mill finish. Stainless → 304 → BA2 polish. The picker funnels from family to spec without ever showing you a 500-row scroll list. Each tier remembers what you picked last time, so common materials are one click away.

02
500+ grades

The grade you specified. Not the closest cousin.

AA-7075-T7351, Ti-6Al-4V Grade 5, PEEK CA30, A2 tool steel, Inconel 718, Delrin 150, ABS V0 — the long-tail grades that buyer-side engineers actually need, not just the seven commodity bars that show up on a competitor’s "popular materials" page.

Grade list — searchable, with per-grade icon and short capability blurb.

03
Spec sheets

Yield, density, hardness. Right under the name.

Each material card carries the spec sheet inline — yield strength, tensile, density, hardness, thermal range, electrical conductivity. No more chasing PDFs from the supplier datasheet site mid-quote; the values you need to size the part are one expand away.

04
Equivalents

Spec it once. We map the international codes.

Call it "Aluminum 6061" or "AA-6061" or "AlMg1SiCu" or "EN AW-6061" — all four resolve to the same material card. The catalog carries AMS, ASTM, DIN, ISO, and JIS designations side-by-side so the spec sheet you wrote in inches translates cleanly to your EU supplier.

Equivalent-grade table on the material card — AMS / ASTM / DIN / ISO / JIS columns.

05
Per-process whitelist

Each process only shows what it can run.

CNC sees 200+ machinable metals and plastics. SLA sees photopolymer resins. SLS sees nylons and TPUs. Sheet Metal sees sheet stock. The picker auto-filters by the process you’re configuring, so you never accidentally specify a material your chosen process can’t produce.

Process-filtered picker view — CNC / SLA / FDM / SLS / Sheet Metal pills above the grade list.
