20CrMo Normalized is 20CrMo heat treated to Normalized — uniform fine grain and stable properties for weldments, pressure parts and forging stock. 20CrMo Normalized has a yield strength of 440 MPa (63.8 ksi) and a tensile strength of 650 MPa (94.3 ksi) — stronger than 51% of steel grades. Elongation at break is 22% and the elastic modulus is 210 GPa (30.5 Msi). 20CrMo Normalized has a density of 7.85 g/cm³ (0.284 lb/in³), heavier than 56% of steel grades. It melts at 1,425°C (2,597 °F). HR is the default condition FabDigit quotes; Normalized is available on request or by drawing note.
