Choosing Ultrasint TPU01

An HP Multi Jet Fusion TPU for detailed elastomeric parts that need shock absorption, repeat flexing and a published MJF process route.

Consider it for
Footwear and sports components · Industrial seals and damping parts · Flexible jigs and fixtures
Tradeoffs
This is specific to HP MJF, and its data are conditioned values at the supplier's recommended 20% fresh-powder refresh. It should not be generalized to SLS TPU builds.
Design and validation
Use a prototype to tune wall thickness, lattice and compression response. Keep X/Z tensile and tear-direction differences in the design review for a stressed flexible feature.
Finishing
Confirm the printed colour for the selected MJF system; raw powder colour alone does not establish the finished appearance. Qualify dye or surface treatments for friction, rebound and repeated flexing.
Before choosing
Does the project require HP MJF specifically? Are compression set, tear strength or abrasion more important than nominal tensile strength?
