What is Nickel 200-H?
Nickel 200-H is Nickel 200 heat treated to H — full-hard strip for stamped contacts, diaphragms and shims needing stiffness and hardness rather than deep drawing. Nickel 200-H has a yield strength of 660 MPa (95.7 ksi) and a tensile strength of 720 MPa (104 ksi) — stronger than 82% of nickel alloy grades. Elongation at break is 4% and the elastic modulus is 204 GPa (29.6 Msi). Nickel 200-H has a density of 8.89 g/cm³ (0.321 lb/in³), heavier than 88% of nickel alloy grades. It melts at 1,435°C (2,615 °F). O is the default condition FabDigit quotes; H is available on request or by drawing note.

Gummy and work-hardening: use positive-rake sharp carbide, heavy positive feed, rigid setup, low-to-moderate speed (~25–45 m/min) and flood sulfur-chlorinated oil; never dwell in the cut.
Can Nickel 200 be welded?
Readily welded by GTAW/GMAW/SMAW with Ni-61 (ERNi-1) filler or ENi-1 electrodes; keep joints free of sulfur, lead and grease, use low heat input and stringer beads, no preheat or PWHT required.
Can Nickel 200 be formed, bent or molded?
Excellent cold formability — deep drawing, spinning and bending in the annealed temper; hot work 650–1230 °C, anneal 700–900 °C with rapid cooling.
