Zenite GF30 vs Zenite UF
Polymer · Zenite grade comparison
Zenite GF30 and Zenite UF are two grades of the same polymer grade, Zenite: GF30 (30 % glass-fiber reinforced) versus UF (unfilled / Natural). The chemistry is identical, so every difference below comes from the condition. Zenite UF is the stronger of the two: tensile strength 165 MPa (23.9 ksi) against 150 MPa (21.8 ksi) for Zenite GF30, about 10% more. Zenite UF is the more ductile: elongation 3.5% versus 1.8% for Zenite GF30. Zenite UF is lighter (1.4 g/cm³ vs 1.61 g/cm³ for Zenite GF30) and Zenite GF30 is stiffer (15 GPa vs 11 GPa). On the shop floor, Zenite UF machines more easily (good vs fair).

Zenite GF30 vs Zenite UF: propertiesHow to read these bars
- One bar per material. A full bar is the highest value among all polymer grades in the FabDigit library; each bar is drawn as a share of that.
- The better value (by the usual engineering direction) is in bold. Rows with no direction — density, thermal conductivity — have no bold.
- Values are typical room-temperature figures for the condition named on each card.
- Confirm against the certified mill or resin datasheet before design release.

Zenite GF30 vs Zenite UF — frequently asked
Is Zenite UF stronger than Zenite GF30?
Yes. Zenite UF has a typical tensile strength of 165 MPa (23.9 ksi) against 150 MPa (21.8 ksi) for Zenite GF30 — about 10% more.
Which grade does FabDigit quote by default, GF30 or UF?
UF is the default Zenite condition in the FabDigit quote flow. The other condition is available on request or by drawing note — specify it in the material field or the part notes and the quote is priced for it.
Which is easier to machine, Zenite GF30 or Zenite UF?
Zenite UF. Its machinability rates good (55/100) against fair (35/100) for Zenite GF30.
